I 2005 informerte BI om en bruttolønnsordning for finansiering av studier. Den baserte seg på at man hadde mulighet til å inngå en avtale med arbeidsgiver om å redusere bruttolønnen tilsvarende arbeidsgivers utlegg til studieavgift, som er skattefri for arbeidsgiver. Ref. skattelovens forskrift paragraf 5-15-11 om Skattefrie ytelser til utdanning.
Prosjektets vurdering av verdiene på Dragvoll og konsekvenser for prosjektøkonomien er gjort av Nylander Næringsmegling sammen med PTL og PWC. Til grunn for vurderingen ligger at Dragvoll og Tessli i samarbeid med Trondheim kommune utvikles med bydelssenter og velutviklet sosial og teknisk infrastruktur i takt med boligutbyggingen.

Etter opprettelsesvedtaket ble det samlet inn 85 millioner kroner i private sponsormidler blant annet fra KPMG International, Hydro, Telenor, DnB NOR og Leif Höeghs stiftelse. Avtalene har varighet på mellom 3 og 5,5 år; den første utløper 31.12.2006 og resten utløper sommeren 2008. Alle kontraktsfestede sponsorleveranser vil bli overholdt i 2007 og 2008.

One of the things that had azed me the most about Chet Lemon’s career was that he dropped off a cliff defensively. He was never a blindingly-fast runner like Pettis was, and most players lose a step or two in their early- or mid-thirties, but Lemon went from went from world-class fly-hawk to sub-mediocrity overnight. Or so it appeared if you believe the then-available metrics.
