Wait, let me back up. Where? What? When? How? The where is easy: Ivy Medical School. “Ivy Medical School?” you say. “Sounds fake. I’ve never heard of it.” Well, yeah, that’s true. I made it up. People are so sensitive about blogs these days that I decided it was wise to anonymize (hmm, doesn’t seem to be a word) things a bit. I’m also planning to use aliases for the common characters in this blog. There’s a benefit to that. I’ll be able to write much more freely without unduly worrying about offending my classmates, colleagues and professors. And if you’re offended anyway, breathe deeply and try to forgive me. This blog is my opinion and only my opinion. We’re all entitled to our opinions.
Ryan, who played Zoe Slater in the BBC soap, beat a host of Hollywood names to the role and was chosen after an exhaustive search. She will play Jamie Sommers, a tennis pro who suffers a near-fatal skydiving accident before her body is transformed with $50m-worth of bionic wizardry.”
We will conduct this election like the general, with the Electoral College. What makes Iowa and New Hampshire so special, all they do is schedule their Caucus and primary before anyone else. Most of the candidates focus and money is used to win these two states. All of the eventual party nominees came from strong showing either in Iowa or at least New Hampshire. flashweb plus +

Voters in the states conducting their primaries after New Hampshire usually vote for the front runners making their primary senseless. This trend might be broken this year with both parties having three viable candidates with large bankrolls making super Tuesday a must good showing. A constitutional amendment would be the only way to change our current system to a national primary. All other countries with elected official have a national primary with a runoff why can we, every vote counts.
Producers say the pilot show for US network NBC will be a “re-imagination” of the original, a spin-off from cult hit The Six Million Dollar Man, which ran from 1976 to 1978 and starred Lindsay Wagner.”
The what and when I’ve already discussed. How is a long, very winded answer if done properly. So I will do it improperly. I decided way back in December 2001 that I would go to medical school and become a doctor. That was nineteen months after college graduation. In the intervening period, I’d been hired and fired (okay, laid off) by a dot-com company, spent two months in China, and then started working as a Mr. Do-It-All at a small, medical products startup. That’s what reignited the inspiration for medical school after many years of dormancy. Way back as a freshman, I’d attended the premed orientation meeting, thought about the enormous cost of a medical education, in dollars and in time, and promptly forgot about it. At the time, the investment was too high for something I wasn’t sure about.

what exactly is it?

Brand Autopsy blog notes that 30 of Digg’s 300,000 users are responsible for 33 percent of the posting submissions. These 30 people are on a mission, obviously. The question is, what exactly is it?

From Blog Entry to Website Content: Web 2.0
February 7th, 2007

In quick and visual fashion, David Armano shows how to use Widgetbox to link your static website to your related blog.

That done, the challange becomes remaining true to your blog’s mission all the while knowing your entries are now filling your homepage. An interesting system of checks and balances for your overall online strategy.

So far I’ve been able to catch about $1.5 million in crab. Two things I’ve noticed: First speed is good and second amenities help keep the men rested and ready to fish. The rest is yours to figure out. Enjoy!

ot sure that the DMV is the best destination for your birthday, but my visit was mostly a non-issue this morning. I took the day off from work, which was nice. I got some errands that I had put off done, took a nap and wrapped up the evening by stretching out with dragonfly in her tree house.

After last week’s hustle and bustle it was nice to take a step back and examine where we are. Given our current production volume we could be well on our way toward our first million in revenue within a year. Very encouraging given the amount of time and effort we have invested into this endeavor.

As I mentioned before the rollout of the new product means a shift in focus for the developers. We’ve transitioned from building the technology toward making the “work flow” process more efficient. This means a look into Microsoft’s Workflow Foundation as well as a lot of business process analysis, both of which suit me very well.
Master landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, designer of New York’s Central Park as well as the grounds of George W. Vanderbilt’s Biltmore House and the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, liked to talk to strangers while crisscrossing the country by train to check on work in progress.

In June 1893, on a trip to Asheville, NC, from Chicago, Olmstead quizzed fellow passengers about their intentions to attend the recently opened World’s Fair.

I haven’t told my husband this.

I just want to change things. Live. Not change. Go back to how things were. Change things? I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

Seize the Day

At this point, all I would do is take hold–forcibly, clearly, and completely. Overwhelmingly.

I wish…
36. I haven’t told my husband this.
37. He writes too, though, so he’d understand.
38. I think I like Veggie Tales even more than my children do.
39. When I was in college, I would often be referred to as “Tootie” - that’s what you get for doing skits on 80’s TV shows.
40. I went to college at 16 and graduated at 20.
41. I have a BA in Bible and Biblical Languages.
42. I was the only girl in 2nd year Greek and second semester Hebrew. I was one of two in Aramaic.
43. I went on my first date when I was 17, and I am still friends with the guy who took me out.
44. One of my very favorite things to do is go shopping (grocery or otherwise) without children.
45. I refuse to cook on Teflon or aluminum.
According to WRAL, units are preselling for $200,000. If that refers to the smallest unit, 883 square feet, then the unit is only $226 per square foot. Given new construction, the view, and the panache of living in Raleigh’s tallest building, that’s a pretty fair price. Surely the larger units are more per foot, but these prices are quite competitive with comparable projects in southern residential towers.”

If you can’t make money on that deal, you can’t make money. Raleigh appreciation and Cary appreciation rates will likely not apply to the downtown appreciation of this project. Each project’s appreciation will be tied to the buildings success as well as downtown inventory. And this one looks like a winner, congrats to the people that scooped me.

While you are at the RBC Plaza you can go over to Yancy’s. I have not been yet but would love to get your thoughts on it. Let me know what you think.
46. My husband and I have a 32 inch TV, but we don’t have cable.
47. I love crazy socks.
48. I do not like high heels.
49. I am allergic to all animals.
50. I hate it when my cell-phone rings.
51. Unless it’s my husband calling.
52. I have been married for 10 days.
53. There are 6 pairs of scissors on my desk and I’m particular about which ones are used for what.
54. Every year I buy a Mary Englebreit wall calendar, but I rarely ever write anything on it.
55. I have a quote from “Alice in Wonderland” painted on my dining table.
I were a vervet monkey, chewing on flowers amoung the tree-top canopies in Africa…. I wish my mind could be completely freed.

I finally get a break, after going non-stop for more than a month. I can actually sleep tonight for the first time in forever. And am I ever looking foward to it.

I guess I’m not willing to actually write what I should say…I don’t know what I would anyway. I just feel so…hhh. I mean, I’m great. Just different and weird. That’s all lies. I don’t know what I’m like. I hate my brain sometimes. I did this study at the dentistry school yesterday. It was a jaw study: they looked at my jaw for about 15 minutes, then for the next hour and a half they pushed me, poked me, stabbed me, tried to scare me, squeezed me, BURNT me, and needled…me. But hey, anything for a buck.

Hhh. I wish I knew what I wanted right now. I guess I just need time.
